Russian return is ‘preferred scenario' for Olympic chiefs - official

Russian Olympic Committee president Stanislav Pozdnyakov is working on ensuring participation at the 2024 Paris Games
Russian Olympic Committee president Stanislav Pozdnyakov has said there is agreement with his counterparts at international level that the return of Russian athletes to global competitions is a “preferred scenario.”
Russian and Belarusian sport has been hit with a wave of bans following a recommendation by the International Olympic Committee back in February that federations should not invite athletes from the two countries to tournaments.
