Guregian: Patriots CB Jonathan Jones flexing his lockdown skills out on the boundary

FOXBORO - When Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin referred to Jonathan Jones as being a “lockdown” corner a few weeks back, eyebrows were raised a bit.
Everyone knew Jones was good, but that good?
Well, as it turns out, Tomlin was onto something.
Through the first three games, Jones has legitimately been that good. He's played the part of a shutdown corner, essentially taking over that role following the departures of Stephon Gilmore and J.C. Jackson. He's provided the missing piece in the Patriots secondary.
