Amanda Nunes barely broke sweat as she defeated the latest challenger to come knocking for one of her two UFC titles, with the Brazilian submitting Megan Anderson in the first round of their featherweight contest at UFC 259.
Nunes secured a ninth win in UFC title fights, seeing off Anderson with a triangle armbar submission after 2:03 of the first round at the Apex in Las Vegas.
It was routine stuff for Nunes - who also holds the UFC women's bantamweight crown - as she notched a 12th straight victory overall.
GOAT STATUS.

Amanda Nunes continues to show why she's widely regarded as the best female fighter of all time.
The UFC women's featherweight and bantamweight champion made quick work of challenger Megan Anderson at Saturday's UFC 259.
Nunes quickly tagged Anderson with hard right hand and stunned the Australian. From there, it was a wrap as Nunes took down Anderson, landed ground-and-pound, secured the back mount, and then locked a reverse triangle choke to finish a straight armbar for the tap.
It was beyond dominant. Anderson never had a moment in the two minutes the fight lasted.
