On his new podcast, The Arthur Brooks Show: This podcast is based on something I've been thinking about for a long time, but I saw a statistic that really worried me. This came from the PEW Research Center recently and I learned that 20% of Americans have stopped speaking to a family member or close friend because of political disagreements. It's sort of blowing my mind and then I read that 40% of Americans actually would be upset if their child married someone from the wrong party.
