LAS VEGAS - Devision Figueiredo sure thought he deserved a “Performance of the Night” bonus after submitting Alex Perez in under two minutes on Saturday in the main event of UFC 255 .
So when UFC president Dana White said he wanted Figueiredo to stick around in Vegas and fight Brandon Moreno in December, he wasn't enthused about the idea.

Deiveson Figueiredo 's first UFC title defense was quick and successful.
At UFC 255 on Saturday, the UFC flyweight champion Figueiredo submitted Alex Perez by guillotine choke at 1:57 of Round 1.
Early on, Figueiredo and Perez exchanged hard strikes on the feet. When Perez caught a Figueiredo kick, the champion pulled for a leg submission. When Perez tried to pounce on his downed opponent, he rolled right into Figueiredo's guard and was swiftly choked out.

Deiveson Figueiredo got his title reign off to a strong start on Saturday when he beat Alex Perez in the UFC 255 main event.
