Laura Poitras, Boston's Oscar-winning documentarian, knew something good was up with her newest film, “All the Beauty and the Bloodshed” soon after its Venice film festival world premiere.
This empathetic look at the life, career and political activism of photographer Nan Goldin had world premiered at Venice's international film festival to a standing ovation.
