The Trump administration on Thursday hit 17 Saudi officials with sanctions over their alleged involvement in the killing of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi.
Among those slapped with sanctions were Saud al-Qahtani, top henchman of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
Qahtani reportedly ran the operation surrounding Khashoggi's killing via Skype.
