A new annual report out of Harvard University's Joint Center for Housing Studies confirmed what many renters in the super-competitive Massachusetts market already know: renters shopping in the lowest and highest price points face serious competition.
“Much of this demand over the last decade has been coming from higher-income households, but still many renters have lower incomes,” said Whitney Airgood-Obrycki, a research associate at the center and the project lead for the report.
