35-year-old man injured in Far North Side shooting

CHICAGO - A 35-year-old man was injured in a shooting in Chicago's Edgewater neighborhood early Sunday morning, according to police.
Police said the man was sitting in his parked car in the 1100 block of West Granville Avenue at approximately 3:45 a.m. when an unknown person approached his car on foot and opened fire, striking the man in the leg.
The man self-transported to Saint Francis Hospital where he is in good condition.
No one is in custody and the incident is under investigation.

CHICAGO - A 31-year-old woman and 29-year-old man were injured in a shooting in Chicago's Washington Heights neighborhood late Saturday night, according to police.
Police said two people were at a gathering in a residence in the 10100 block of South Winston Avenue at approximately 10:40 p.m. when an unknown man opened fire, striking them both.
The man sustained four gunshot wounds to the chest and backside and was transported to Christ Hospital where his condition is unknown.

27-year-old woman injured in West Side shooting

CHICAGO - A 27-year-old woman was injured in a shooting in Chicago's Near West Side neighborhood early Sunday morning, according to police.
Police said the woman was sitting in a car with a group of people in the 1300 block of West Hastings Street at approximately 3:00 a.m. Sunday when she heard shots and felt pain.
The woman said she did not know where the shots came from and was transported by friends to Stroger Hospital where she is in fair condition.
No one is custody and the incident is under investigation.
