In about a month, female athletes from around the world we descend on downtown Albany to showcase their considerable skills in the festival known as the Aurora Games.
But who will show up to watch them?
Jerry Solomon, the creator and executive producer of the games, told me this week that while support from corporate sponsors and outlets like ESPN has been impressive, ticket sales have been disappointing, at best. Plenty of seats remain available for many of the events.
