The Celtics aren't morning people, this much is clear.
Of late, of course, they haven't been much better in the evening hours, but as evidenced by Sunday's slow roll out of bed, the Celtics simply didn't have the energy to survive in Sunday's 104-91 loss to Washington.
They have now lost consecutive games to two of the worst teams in the league and certainly the conference - Washington and Detroit - after beating Toronto, one of the best defensively, with their finest display of ball movement this season.
