Quincy man accused of kidnapping girlfriend is arrested after she jumps from second story: Police

A man accused of holding his girlfriend captive for a week was arrested on Wednesday after the victim jumped from a second-story window and screamed for help, according to Quincy Police.
Following her leap in the hopes of escaping, neighbors saw Matthew McAuliffe approach her from behind, cover her mouth and drag her into the apartment, the witnesses told police - who ended up going into the apartment and finding the victim unresponsive on a bed.
