ALBANY, N.Y. - Long Island Rep. Lee Zeldin 's 14-month long campaign for governor of New York has been defined by his associations.
His Democratic critics attack him for a long record of being publicly chummy with former President Donald Trump since 2016. His Republican primary opponents say he wasn't consistently close enough - and that he was actually former Democratic Gov.
