What comes after omicron? Doctors share their coronavirus predictions

With countless variants and constantly changing guidance, the path of COVID-19 can be difficult to predict. Still, the Herald asked three area doctors for their best guesses.
Dr. Arthur Kim, an infectious disease doctor at Mass General Hospital and the COVID-19 medical director at the hospital's Department of Medicine, was wary of making predictions.
“I'm not one who likes to make predictions about that because if there's anything we've learned from omicron, it's that the pandemic can surprise us and send us new turns and twists,” he said.
