Dianne Wiest was clueless when Taylor Sheridan, the celebrated writer-director-producer behind Kevin Costner's hit Western series, called her about his “Mayor of Kingstown” Paramount series. “I guess I'm the one person in America who doesn't know about ‘Yellowstone,”' she admitted.
Sheridan, the two-time Oscar winner discovered, is “the kind of writer that's just big. He's a big writer with huge emotional input in every story and it's very addictive.”
