Chris Sale to pitch 4-5 innings in Sunday's rehab start with Double-A Portland

Chris Sale is expected to pitch four or five innings in his next rehab start with the Double-A Portland Sea Dogs on Sunday as the Red Sox left-hander continues to eye a return to Boston in the near future.
Sunday's outing will be Sale's third rehab start and second consecutive in Portland after he struck out seven in 3 2/3 hitless innings on Tuesday. Red Sox manager Alex Cora didn't specify how many more rehab starts Sale will make after Sunday as he returns from Tommy John surgery, but he'll likely have multiple more outings.
