Candidate for attorney general Andrea Campbell hit back at her opponents on Sunday and defended her campaign's fundraising thus far amid calls to swear off corporate backed donations.
“I have to be crystal clear, there is such misinformation and frankly it's disappointing that my opponent is spreading lies in this race,” she said. “There is no super PAC money in the AGs race, there is no corporate funding.”
Campbell appeared on WCVB's “On The Record,” where she told the hosts her campaign has raised more than her opponents using grassroots organizing, not corporate donors.
