Theo Epstein and John Henry famously fired up Gigantes on the field after the Red Sox won the 2007 World Series. There were cigars aplenty in the locker-room after the 2011 Bruins captured the Stanley Cup.
Cigars were to be savored only after births, titles and triumphs.
