Siena women's basketball defeats UAlbany 52-46

Sabrina Piper scored 18 points, Rayshel Brown added 15 points and the Siena women's basketball team defeated the University at Albany 52-46 at the Alumni Recreation Center this afternoon.
The Saints (2-5) ended an eight-game losing streak in their series against the Great Danes (4-6). The teams resumed the rivalry this year after a one-year hiatus.
Siena ended the game on a 9-0 run and held UAlbany scoreless for the final 4:21. Piper gave the Saints the lead for good with a reverse layup with 1:24 remaining.
Alexi Schecter scored 14 points and Kyara Frames had 11 points for the Great Danes.
